Leuven holds a special place in my heart—it’s close to my hometown, and I spent so many teenage years heading there to shop, party, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere.
Leuven is famous for its incredible university, but it’s also packed with stunning sights like the ornate Town Hall, the relaxing Botanical Garden, and the historic Groot Begijnhof.
When I lived there, I loved grabbing a drink at the Oude Markt, often called the “longest bar in the world” because of its endless rows of terraces. For shoppers, Leuven has a mix of trendy boutiques and local shops, and foodies will love trying traditional dishes paired with Leuven’s pride: Stella Artois beer.
